Neighbours has been shown on BBC One since 1986 but the contract to continue showing it is being negotiated at the moment and it's not good news. ITV have reportedly offered 4 times as much money to steal the show away. A decision is expected very very soon. Will makers Fremantle Media take the money or will they see that without the BBC, Neighbours would probably not even exist anywhere including in Australia and if the show goes to ITV will probably halve its audience?
