Series 36 to launch on 13 September

Series 36 of The Sound of Sunday will launch on Sunday 13 September at 1,30.

After a 5 week break the new series will feature familiar features and some new ideas.

The Theatre Guide is back along with the Vintage Jukebox, Quiet Quarter of an Hour and Random Vinyl.

The Late and the Great is the new competition and the Weekend Prize Draw is back giving a patient who has a request request over the weekend the chance to win a Goody Bag.

Residents’ Requests will also continue to be part of the show every week at 4.

And finally, as Saturday morning TV on the BBC prepares to mark 50 years, it will be The Saturday Morning TV Years on Memory Makers and an updated version of the award nominated documentary It Started with Swap Shop in October.
